This new dimmer offers the energy-saving benefits of dimming without sacrificing performance. The IllumaTech universal dimmer addresses performance issues–such as flickering, reduced dimming range, and low level start up–often experienced when incandescent-only dimmers are paired with dimmable LED and CFL bulbs.

The IllumaTech universal dimmer features an on/off preset function which preserves the selected dimmer setting, smooth start-up, gentle-touch control, fluid slide movement for precise dimming and modern aesthetics. Its slim, compact housing fits easily into a standard wall box and is suitable for multi-gang installations. The IllumaTech model features a traditional push button switch and attractive slide bar and is compatible with Leviton’s complete line of signature Decora wiring devices and wall plates.

Color change kits simplify inventory by diminishing the need for stocking separate devices in every color. Additionally, the IPL06 features a future-proof dimming platform that is compatible with incandescent and dimmable LED and CFL lamps. IllumaTech slide controls include LED, CFL, magnetic low voltage, electronic low voltage and fluorescent lighting dimmers, as well as full range and quiet fan speed controls. IllumaTech Rotary Controls combine the ease of a traditional rotary knob with the contemporary look of Decora styling. They are perfect for specifiers, lighting designers and engineers who require reliable performance and a modern rotarylook.
